How to play Air Hockey
Make Air Hockey your next activity in the game library. Score seven goals before the computer. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Begin with the solo vs computer mode shown on the page. Use the example below to understand a decision.
Move your paddle against a computer opponent and score through the opposite goal.
Keep the aim in sight
Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules. Use the example to check your reasoning.
Your goal
Score seven goals before the computer. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Take a moment to understand the current position.
Step by step
- Start.
- Move your mallet within the lower half.
- Strike toward the upper goal.
- Goals reset the puck.
Controls
Mouse/touch movement or Left/Right controls. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.
A useful example
An angled hit can bank off a side wall. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Keep the controls nearby.
Watch out for this
You cannot move into the computer’s half. Check the rule before repeating the action. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
