How to play Letter Link

Take a moment with Letter Link before moving to another game. Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Identify the playing area and the controls you need. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

Make words from two letter sets: PLANET and STREAM. Each set uses a selected list of accepted answers.

A useful comparison

Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Refer to the controls when needed.

Your goal

Find every target word from the six-letter bank. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Take a moment to understand the current position.

Step by step

  1. Select letters in order, each tile once per word.
  2. Submit the word.
  3. Clear letters to retry.
  4. Find all displayed word lengths.

Controls

Tap letters and Submit word. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Look at the feedback after the action.

A useful example

PLANET makes PLANT, PLANE and PETAL. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Read the matching step again.

Watch out for this

Not every dictionary word is a target in this curated list. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
